If there is one thing that you can count on, it is the Mean Machine pulling off a come from behind victory. Down 26-14 late in the 4th quarter, the Mean Machine rattled off 20 unanswered points to advance to Wednesday night's matchup with Bofa Squad. The #21 Trimble Tomcats gave Mean Machine a run for their money, but the Mean Machine were too much for the Tomcats.

Scoring points hasn't been an issue for Mean Machine this season. They sit at #4 overall in the league putting up 35.2 ppg. So the 12 point deficit was nothing they couldn't handle. Dave Heisel orchestrated a beautiful comeback with less than 4 minutes to go. Ben Delay came up big with 2 key TD's to help put the Mean Machine ahead 27-26 with less than a minute to go. Kyle Singer came up big on the go ahead 1 point conversion. Tommy Laffey IV had big plays in the passing game in the 4th quarter.

The Trimble Tomcats moved the ball slowly down field but it wasn't enough. A last second Hail Mary attempt was intercepted by Jacob Geiser, and taking back to the house for 6. The INT capped off a gutsy performance by the Mean Machine.

Dante DiBucci came up big on the few drives getting pressure on the QB forcing two INT's on the Tomcats last two drives. Alex Pastrick did his part as a rusher coming up clutch when the team needed him most. It was an all around great win for the Mean Machine.

Next up for the #12 Mean Machine is the #40 Bofa Squad Wednesday night @10 P.M. QB Dave Heisel is however on the injury report with a toe problem. Heisel is listed as probable according to coach/player Jeremy Ewalt.

Bofa Squad will be a tough matchup. After going 0-3 in the regular season, they have went on a run in the playoffs. Winning their first game 35-12 and their second one 42-26. In the regular season they only averaged 10.2 ppg ranking them 40th in the league. Their defense gave up 20 ppg putting them at 21st overall. The Mean Machine is very similar defensively, giving up 21.7 ppg (22nd overall).

It will be an interesting game, with a hurt QB and an opponent who is on a hot streak how will the Mean Machine respond?
