A week after a tough loss, the Mean Machine rebounded in a big way against Hoover Trap. In a game they desperately needed, the team game up big and left no doubt on their way to a 59-0 win. They move in to 2nd place in the division with the win. Making next weeks game against Spider 2 Y Banana another must win. With playoff aspirations, the team got a much needed win to give them some momentum.

QB1 David Heisel led the way offensively, doing everything he could to put the team on his back. Spencer Haught, and Jeremy Ewalt each had a touchdown. There was a night and day difference between the offense in game 1 compared to game 2. Consistency was something Coach, now player Alex Pastrick hammered into the team's head.

Corner Jacob Geiser game up with a zone defense (2-4-1) that worked better than he thought as it led to 5 INT's. Tommy Laffey IV had 3, Geiser had 1 and Heisel had 1. Dante DiBucci was a huge presence rushing on the line, forcing the QB to make quick decisions that helped lead to 5 INT's.

I was lucky enough to catch up with Defensive Player of the Game Thomas Laffey IV while he was playing some billiards.

It was a great team win for the Mean Machine. No time to celebrate though because next week is an even bigger game. Mean Machine vs. Spider 2 Y Banana for a playoff spot.
