Of Course Joey Porter is Coaching this Week

If you thought there was any chance Joey Porter wasn't coaching this week you're delusional. In a league and a city where performance in the playoffs mean as much as it does in the NFL and Pittsburgh, you have to take every opportunity you have to win. In Mike Tomlin's mind, if you aren't in a jail cell or the hospital you're on the sidelines. Porter is obviously a spark and a half for this Pittsburgh team and has a lot to do with the intensity among their linebacking core.

Steelers have a chance to win the Super Bowl this year, and nobody is going to remember how the let Joey Porter off easy if they get a ring. They are the only team left that can challenge the Pats, but they are going to have to play their best football. If Joey Porter can help get the Steelers to that point, Tomlin would be dumb not to have him on the sidelines.

Overall, great move by the Steelers. He is going to be a catalyst this week after coming back from this incident, and winning takes precedent over everything in the NFL.

Also, anyone who wants to crucify a man over a bar fight needs to get over themselves. This was blown so far out of proportion.
