Cousins Showing his Teammates Some Love

Redskins QB Kirk Cousins decided to do something nice for his teammates, a little mid-preseason present.

He purchased Tommy Bahama shirts for the entire team. I guess Cousins wanted everyone to be prepared for sunny Houston come Super Bowl time. Maybe he was just trying to mellow everyone out before week 1. Either way this is a power move from a true leader.

The thing is, you can't not wear a shirt if someone buys it for you. You remember when your grandma got you that ugly ass Christmas sweater when you were 7 and then your mom made you wear it to the Christmas party every year until you grew out of it? Well Kirk Cousins just sweet old grandma-ed the crap out of the entire roster. One of these shirts will make an appearance at every team event until somebody else buys the entire team a gift. I can only imagine that every shirt came with a tag on it asking "YOU LIKE THAT?"

This makes me love Kirk Cousins even more. This kid came out of Michigan State as one of the more underrated players in the draft and has secured himself a starting job. He took a page out of the Manning brother's book and has turned his awkward demeanor into a positive. Now he is turning the expected gift from the QB into a power move... I love it!

Big W for Kirk today: points with the team, and he gets to see pictures of his teammates signing autographs looking ridiculous plastered all over Twitter.
