Josh Gordon Still Suspended, Browns Still Not Giving Up

Though it feels like Browns WR Josh Gordon has been suspended every year since the invention of the internet, the Cleveland Browns aren't giving up on him.

Gordon will once again serve a suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. He will be sitting out the first four games of the 2016 season and is one violation away from yet another indefinite suspension. However, through all the
suspensions, the Browns front office won't budge. Gordon is not going to be traded per Browns Head of Football Operations Sashi Brown.

To the Browns I have only one thing to say: I think it's time to move on. If there are three things you can count on in this world it's death, taxes, and Josh Gordon failing a drug test once a year. I mean, I'd put serious money on this dude having been a Rastafarian in a past life. Gordon's got the opportunity to make so much more money if he can put the bong down for a year or at least ask Thad Castle how to perform a good oil change.

Long story short, Gordon is so talented, but he is detrimental to this organization. That being said, it's the biggest Cleveland move of all time to keep him around. These people just figured out how to win in the NBA, it'll be at least another three decades before the Browns even get a whiff of the playoffs. Cleveland likes to wallow in, and occasionally take a bite (see image below), of its own crap, so this move comes as no surprise to me; its just Cleveland being Cleveland.
